Hair Care in Abu Dhabi

Hair Care Abu Dhabi

HAIRDRESSING is the art of arranging the hair or otherwise modifying its natural state. For ages, hairdressing has been an important part of the overall attire for both men and women, and like any other accessory, it serves a number of functions.

One extremely important function of hair styling is to indicate status. Primitive men, for example, fastened bones, feathers, and other objects in their hair to impress the lowly and frighten the enemy with their rank and prowess. Noble rank among the ancient Gauls was indicated by long hair etc…

Until the 20th century, fashionable hair styles were generally limited to the upper class. Today, with the general increase in wealth, the trend towards informality and individualism, women and men in all classes can choose the style and color of their own hair that best suit their needs and tastes.

Hair Coloring

Because hair coloring is constantly being improved and tested scientifically and is subject to rigid quality controls, more women than ever before can color their hair safely and achieve a natural effect. We, at Corpofino, utilize a variety of top brands with an exclusive presence in hairdressing salons: L’oreal, INOA, MAJIREL and KERASTASE.

There are three types of hair coloring available.

Temporary Rinses
Coat the hair shaft and wash away with one shampoo, make no drastic change but add highlights and blend in discolored streaks.

Semi Rinses
Coat the hair shaft but last through four to eight days, make hair slightly darker and can effectively cover gray hair. The color by these rinses fades gradually, it does not require retouching.

Permanent Tints
Penetrate the hair shaft and permanently change the pigment inside. The tint includes a bleaching agent, which removes the natural hair color, and coloring matter, which gives a new color. Retouching is needed about every three weeks at the roots, where the darker hair grows in.

Hair Extensions

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Hair Extensions

Different Methods

Clip in Hair Extensions
Clip ins are the most temporary type of hair extensions, they can be can be applied or removed within minutes. Available in a variety of widths, lengths and hair types.

Tape-in Hair Extensions
Wefts of hair are attached to small sections of your natural hair using double-sided tape.

Pre-Bonded Hair Extensions
Hair extension strands are prebonded with various types of adhesives such as keratin, glue, plant based and petroleum based adhesives. These bonds are softened with an application machine and joined to the natural hair.

Weave (or Sew-in) Hair Extensions
Your natural hair is braided in rows from ear to ear and wefts of hair are woven (with thread) onto the braids.

Finding the right method
Finding the right method will depend on budget, preference, and hair type. When it comes to purchasing hair, you get what you pay for. Price will vary greatly based on quality of the hair, as well as the desired quantity for thickness and length. Virgin human hair is the highest quality and runs up to  a couple of hundred dollars per bunch. The hair runs in the same direction, maintaining that natural soft, silky texture.

What to Look For
It is important to match the color and texture of the hair extensions with that of your natural hair. Avoid hair with excessive shine: Shiny hair is coated with silicone, which will wear off quickly and lead to tangles and dulling.

How to take care of it
Extension hair should be cared for just like your natural hair.   Be extra careful with wet hair; dry it completely with your fingers before using a brush to style.

Will it damage the Natural Hair?
The weight of extensions can put additional stress on the roots, so it’s important to match hair density to avoid unnecessary tension on natural hair. Placement is also essential. Extensions should be placed where hair is strongest. Avoid areas along the hairline or the back of the neck, where hair is the most fragile.

Reduces Sebum

Sebum build up is a common reason behind slow hair growth. Sebum is a naturally produced oily substance secreted by the hair glands. Sebum helps in keeping the scalp well moisturized, but excess amount of sebum can hamper the rate of hair growth. When excess sebum accumulates on the scalp, it mixes with dirt and blocks the pore from where hair grows out.  The antibacterial properties of Aloe Vera solve the problem of build-up of excess sebum on the scalp.

Promotes Hair Growth

Aloe Vera activates new hair growth along with the growth of already existing hair follicles by increasing the blood circulation to the scalp. Aloe Vera contains a kind of enzyme that helps in new hair growth for some people. It also cleanses the scalp by balancing the pH level of the scalp. When the scalp is clean and blood circulation to the scalp is good, nothing can stop from proper and faster hair growth.

Solves Hair Loss

For years, Aloe Vera has been used as a safe and natural treatment to prevent hair loss. Both men and women can use this natural product to solve hair loss or significant thinning. It also lessens the effects of Alopecia that causes hair loss and promotes the growth of new hair But Aloe Vera can be effective in the treatment of hair loss if used at the first sign of excessive hair loss.

As Aloe Vera is a cooling agent, it great helps in preventing dryness that often causes dandruff. It also has anti-fungal properties which stops dandruff and prevents it from reoccurring. As Aloe Vera helps in keeping the natural oil of hair in balance there will never be the problem of hair dryness. Also Aloe Vera brings a refreshing and cooling sensation to the scalp.

Alopecia or male pattern baldness is a common hair problem faced by men. This is a kind of hair loss problem that occurs in a particular part of the head or full hair loss. This problem can be due to genetic reasons or lifestyle-related reasons. Although alopecia is common, it can be reduced and in some cases cured also with regular use of Aloe Vera. This is mainly because it rejuvenates the hair follicles and helps reduce hair fall.

There is no doubt that Aloe Vera is a great natural product for your hair. Using Aloe Vera for various hair related problems is safe, natural, and affordable. But you must remember that there are a variety of different causes for hair loss, such as scalp infections, reactions to medications, illness, vitamin or mineral deficiencies and other medical reasons. So, you must consult a doctor to discover the actual cause behind your hair loss problem. This will determine if Aloe Vera can effectively treat your hair problem.

Keratin-Hair Smoothing

Keratin is now being used not just to straighten the hair, but also fortify them. Keratin does not make the hair straight, even though it may appear straight for some time but the objective of the treatment is to reduce frizz, curl and help the hair become more manageable.

It washes out after sometime, therefore 3-5 months is typically the length of the time that it lasts.

The steps of the keratin application are simple. The hair is shampooed and blow dried, after which the solution is applied with a brush and combed through the hair, and allowed to absorb for about 20 minutes.

Hair is then blow dried once more and flat ironed and the oils of the treatment will set into the hair within a few hours.

The hair must be kept straight for 72 hours, without using any accessories, as it may disturb the process.

Botox works on all hair types: curly, straight, thick, thin, grey, blonde and everything in between and the results last for four weeks.

Hair experts recommend this treatment to have a smooth, healthy, conditioned hair with radiant shine.

It is the most effective professional treatment in the world through the use of a special Brazilian Nutrients Complex which upgrades the condition of the hair by creating a protective protein layer around the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and smooth the cuticle.

Natural Hair

Styling

Hair styles are suggested according to the shape of the face in order to make the face resemble as closely as possible the perfect oval.

A square face needs a style that cuts across the square corners at the temples and is full around the jaw.

The best style for a long face also rounds off the corners at the temples and is short.

For a triangular face, a narrow chin should be filled out with chin-length hair.

In finding the right hairstyle, however, a woman should also consider the proportions of her whole figure, the texture of her hair, her skill in handling it, and the character of her life.

Washing / Brushing

Clean, healthy hair is the basis of any hair style. In addition to brushing, dry hair requires shampooing once a week, oily hair perhaps every day. Shampoos are soapy or synthetic detergents in liquid, gel, lotion, or cream form and may have special uses. There are hypoallergenic shampoos for sensitive scalps, medicated shampoo for scalp problems, and special shampoos for tinted or bleached hair.

Cutting

A blunt cut with scissors makes the ends of the hair straight. Cutting with a razor tapers the ends so that they cling close to the head.

Many people are never sure about how often they should cut their hair. The general consensus is that hair should be cut every 4-6 weeks however if you are attempting to grow your hair this could be extended to 6-8 weeks.

Aside from having a haircut, trimming your hair is also necessary in order to avoid split ends and secure general health of the hair so it doesn’t waste its inner forces and nutrition to cure damaged ends.
