Botox Injection Abu Dhabi
Wrinkles are born from squinting, smiling, frowning – any facial movement – as well as time and aging. Botox/Neurotoxins can be used to relax these muscles, preventing squinting and frowning, which improves the appearance of wrinkles and may prevent them from worsening. At this time, Botox/Neurotoxins are FDA-approved treatment in the US for these indications, and it has been safely used for facial wrinkles since the very early 1980’s.
In Preparation for your treatment
For ten days prior to your appointment, avoid supplements or medications that make you bruise, such as medication that reduce inflammation (ibuprofen products like Advil and Brufen), as well as aspirin, green tea, vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba and Saint – John’s Worts.
However, you may take Tylenol, which does not affect blood platelet function like the others do. Purchase a product containing arnica or vitamin K, and/or retinol. This can be applied after the procedure to prevent and treat bruises. On the day of your treatment, try to be as relaxed as you can. Remember, this really is easy.
We will apply a topical anesthetic cream to the area being treated, usually the forehead, between the brows, or the crow’s feet at the outside corners of the eyes, about twenty minutes before the treatment begins.
What to Expect?
The treatment involves injections via a tiny needle, which is about the size of an acupuncture needle. When a topical anesthetic is used first, most people don’t feel the injection. Frown lines usually require three injections, crows –feet receive three injections per side, and lines in the forehead usually get five to eight injections. Following treatment, your skin may show a few raised bumps in the area of the injection that look like insect bites. These typically last about thirty minutes. Bruising can also occur (though this is more likely in redheads), so remember to apply the arnica or vitamin K and retinol at the first sign of bruising.
Follow Up Care after Botox/Nuerotoxin
Patients can immediately resume to use all skin care makeup after the treatment. Avoid facials, facial massage, steam rooms, saunas, vigorous exercise and hot showers for 4 hours because these may increase your risk of bruising.
The most common side effect is bruising which can be prevented by avoiding the medications and supplements mentioned above. Treating the forehead can result in heaviness of the upper eyelids. This resolves in one week in some cases, however, it may last for the duration of the Botox / Dysport treatment. Droopiness of the eyelid (ptosis) rarely occurs after injection of the frown lines.
What to Expect after Botox/Nuerotoxins?
After three days you will notice decreased movement in the treated area, it takes ten days for the full effects to be seen. If you can make the treated area move by flexing the muscles or if you notice any asymmetry-uneven result on one side or the ability to move only on one side-the treatment hasn’t worked as it should, and you will need a retouch. Retouches are done free of charge.
Your wrinkles per se may not completely disappear but the muscles underneath them should quit moving. It may take four to eight months without movement before the wrinkles begin to smooth out, which will happen especially if you are following the recommended skin care regimen at the same time. All patients should be using daily sunscreen. Botox/Nuerotoxins injection provides temporary wrinkle-correction so expect to return for follow-up treatments every three to six months. It is better not to let the Botox completely wear off because this will help prevent the wrinkles form returning.

Dermal Fillers Abu Dhabi
Soft tissue dermal fillers are substances that can be injected into the skin to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, plump lips, fill out hollow cheeks, improve scars, elevate deep folds and repair various facial imperfections. The result is a smoother, more youthful appearance with minimal “downtime” and maximum safety. Variety of soft tissue fillers including collagen, Hyaluronic acid and one’s own fat have greatly expanded the options available to treat aging skin. Filler substances are quick, safe, easy and provide instant gratification.
The aging process generally causes a loss of volume as the underlying collagen, Hyaluronic acid, and elastic fibers begin to deteriorate, and fat stores in the face decrease. This most commonly occurs around the eyes, mouth, cheeks, the jaw line, the brow, and bridge of the nose. These age-related changes produce crow’s feet, laugh lines, folds and furrows on the forehead, and “hills and valleys” on the lower third of the face. At Corpofino Dermatology clinic, we can use these fillers to sculpt the face and restore a youthful look to your appearance.
How do soft tissue dermal fillers work?
A filler substance is injected beneath the surface of the skin where it corrects the line or wrinkle by temporarily plumping and smoothing out the skin depression. Most fillers replace the lost components of the skin: collagen, Hyaluronic acid and elastin.
Fillers can also be placed into the lips to create a fuller, more youthful look, or in the hollows of the cheeks to reduce gaunt appearance. Facial scarring from acne or injury also responds well to soft tissue filler techniques.
Soft tissue fillers are often considered a first line of defense against skin and are frequently used in combination with other techniques for facial rejuvenation.
What should I do before the treatment?
Ten days prior to your appointment avoid ingesting substance that will increase your tendency to bruise.
Many herbal and alternative medicine products may increase bruising so discuss use of these with your dermatologist. The following are known to increase bruising: alcohol, green tea, ibuprofen, aspirin, Coumadin, warfarin, and St. John’s Wort.
What should I expect during and after treatment?
Injecting soft tissue filler is a relatively simple process in the office. The down time is minimal.
Most patients do not bruise when they follow these recommendations. However, if you have an event such as a wedding or photo shoot, we recommend that you receive the filler treatment at least 10 days prior to the event in case bruising occurs. Bruising is more likely to occur in very light skinned individuals and red heads.
Prior to the procedure, you will remove all make up and a topical anesthetic is applied to the area being treated. A very small needle is used to inject the filler directly to the skin.
Immediately after the procedure, there may be some temporary swelling, redness or minor bruising at the injection sites. This usually subsides and fades quickly. Makeup can be reapplied immediately after the treatment. You may return to normal activities, however, avoid hot showers, saunas or other exposure to heat for 6 hours because these may increase the risk of bruising. Avoid sun exposure and alcohol for 24 hours; these have been associated with redness.
Are there any possible risks?
All medical procedures carry some risk. However, soft tissue fillers are generally considered safe and effective procedures. Apart from an allergic reaction to the injected substance, side effects are few and typically related to the local injection.
How long does the improvement last?
The length of time the improvement may last depends on the type of filler used, the areas treated & the ability of the patient’s skin to absorb the materials.
- Plump thin lips
- Shallow contours
- To soften facial creases
- Improve appearance of wrinkles
- Improve the appearance of recessed scars.
- Improve skin texture

Platelet Rich Plasma is a 100% natural method that uses the patient’s own blood components to stimulate the renewal of damaged tissue in areas of the face, neck, décolleté, hands and body.
Extracted blood platelets that contain proteins, nutrients, and a variety of growth factors are injected in the area to be treated. When growth factors are activated by injection, repair of damaged tissue begins, generating collagen and hyaluronic production.
A natural enhancement of the skin’s appearance begins to take place and youthfulness, suppleness and volume are restored to the treated areas.
PRP benefits you in many ways. It is a safe healing process that has been studied and applied to restore many areas of concern. This treatment accelerates the rejuvenating properties of the body, eliminating the need for cosmetic surgery. PRP is also biocompatible with the human body, requiring little or no recovery time.
This method is extremely safe, with no risk of allergic reaction because the PRP gel is produced by your own blood.

The thread lift is a “minimally invasive procedure for the face, neck, or jowls in which threads, which have small cones/graspers on them, are passed under the skin via a large needle. The cones then grab hold of the skin from the under surface and pull to re-suspend the skin in a lifted, more youthful position. The newest threads are disolvable.
A thread facelift is a safe, convenient alternative to traditional facelift surgery. Special threads are used during this facelift to discreetly hold re-positioned skin and facial tissue in place after surgery.
How long does thread face lift last?
The Contour Thread Lift has been found to give modest improvement in facial contours. The advantages are minimal down time (1 to 3 days) and minimal discomfort. Though there is insufficient data as to the longevity of the Contour Thread Lift effects, they are believed to last from two to five years.
Is thread lift permanent?
The technique of permanent thread lift, using tensor notched threads, is always non-surgical and reversible. If absorbable threads bring a very decent result for the young patients, undergoing a small and localized sagging, permanent threads have much better efficiency and durability.
Will I have pain during or after the Threadlift face and necklift?
After injection of the novocaine, the Threadlift facelift and necklift procedure is completely painless. Patients are very comfortable and some even sleep through their Threadlift facelift procedure! Once the Threadlift is completed, the novocaine will wear off. Any minor discomfort can be treated with ibuprofen.
How long does it take to recover from a facelift?
Though “recovery” – i.e., the amount of time it will take for you to get back to a relatively normal routine after your facelift – is about two weeks, the time it takes for all of the residual swelling, bruising and changes in skin sensation to resolve themselves is a full year
- Fuzzy face oval
- Wrinkles in the eye area
- Nasolabial folds, “puppet” wrinkles
- Asymmetry of the face
- Signs of aging in the neck and decollete
- Changes in skin relief (irregularities, atrophic manifestations)
- Double chin

Microneedling is a revolutionary new technology that simulates collagen and elastin to tighten the skin. It uses MicroNeedling Fractionated RadioFrequency (MFR) energy in the deep layers of the skin to bring the youth back. The procedure involves placing a hand-piece consisting of Gold-Standards 36 insulated or non-insulated Gold micro-needles on the skin and releasing radio frequency energy inside the skin. The combination of MicroNeedling and Radio Frequency helps penetrate the skin layers, while ensuring the top skin layer is not effected. The technology maximizes comfort and patient satisfaction.
What is the recovery time?
Typically the redness after the treatment subsides even before leaving our clinic, but this may take up to 24 hours.
How long does the treatment take?
The treatment takes approximately 45-60 minutes, including the application of anesthetic cream.
Does it hurt?
Everyone’s pain tolerance varies, but to ensure your comfort we apply anesthetic cream.
What happens after?
Your skin will be tighter. You will be instructed what you can do and can’t do after the treatment. Several treatments may be recommended for optimal results; typically 4-6 treatments. The treatments can also be combined with other treatments.
How often should Microneedling be done?
Micro-needling can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks as needed. Collagen induction requires at least 3 treatments, while scar reduction requires between 3 and 6. 4 to 6 weeks should pass between one treatment and the next, and the number of treatments needed depends on individual cases.
What areas can be treated with Radiofrequency microneedling?
Many areas of the skin are amenable to treatment .The face is the most common area of treatment, in order to correct wrinkles, scars, or textural changes. However, neck aging and skin crepiness of the neck respond as well. Vertical wrinkles of the decollete area may be treated for chest rejuvenation.
What kind of skin does it work on?
Most skin colors can be treated, including tanned skin and dark skin.
Is there any side effect for Microneedling?
The most common side effect is minor skin irritation immediately following the procedure. You may also see redness for a few days.
- Skin Rejuvenation
- Skin Tightening
- Wrinkle Reduction
- Pore Reduction
- Acne Scars Reduction
- Stretch Marks Reduction
- Fine Lines and Wrinkles
- Scars – Acne Scars

HIFU stands for “High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound” and is a relatively new cosmetic technology, having only been introduced for use in recent years. HIFU as a form of facial treatment employs the use of concentrated ultrasound energy to the face and neck by a handheld device. It is a non-invasive treatment that helps stimulates the cells, resulting in tissue rejuvenation and collagen production. The overall effect of the treatment is to promote tightening and lifting of the skin in these areas.
HIFU treatment can help stimulate tissue rejuvenation and collagen production – resulting in the tightening and lifting of saggy skin – and can also be used to break down fat deposits. In the hands of a skilled practitioner, this can produce results akin to facial sculpting (but without the need for surgery).
Is HIFU treatment painful?
There can be some discomfort when the ultrasound energy is being applied but it is temporary and a good sign that collagen-building process has begun. All areas of the face are not equal in terms of pain sensation. The second factor related to pain/discomfort during a HIFU procedure is the type of skin being treated.
Is there any downtime?
HIFU is an entirely non-invasive procedure and as such, there is no downtime. You are able to return to your normal activities right away, and there are no special measures you need to take.
Is HIFU safe?
The procedure has been cleared after demonstrating safety in clinical studies, and tens of thousands of treatments have been performed safely worldwide. In addition, ultrasound energy has a proven track record, with use in the field of medicine for more than 50 years.
What do I expect after Treatment?
Some patients have reported mild soreness, which typically resolves itself.
In the presence of these symptoms, the doctor may prescribe pain medications and special facial creams to protect the skin from the UV rays of the sun and other harmful factors in the environment.
How many sessions do I need?
To get the best results, it is advised to have HIFU treatments done for four to six weeks, followed by maintenance sessions at three to four month intervals.
Collagen production is expected to reach its optimum level at two to three months. It is during this period that a patient can already see her facial skin becoming younger-looking, healthier, softer, and supple.
How long does HIFU treatment last?
After your HIFU Treatment, you may see some initial effect, but the ultimate results will take place over 2-3 months, as your body naturally regenerates collagen. Since the procedure stimulates your own collagen production, how long the results last really depends on you.
- Age-related changes.
- Double chin.
- Loss of volume in the cheek area.
- Loose neck skin.
- Loss of face and jawline contour.
- Deep nasolabial folds.
- Drooping mouth corners.
- Sagging eye lids and brow area.
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Sagging skin along the cheeks and eyelids
- Skin that is thin and with a texture like crepe paper
- Drooping skin around the mouth area
- Undefined jawline

Fractional resurfacing is a variation of traditional resurfacing of the skin where just a small percentage of the surface area of your skin is treated. The laser makes a large number of very small, highly controlled treatment points in a precise pattern on your skin. Because only a fraction of the skin’s surface area is actually treated, post-treatment healing is faster and you are able to resume normal activities sooner than with traditional CO2 resurfacing.
CO2 lasers have been the gold-standard for resurfacing treatments for 20 years. This is because they are able to remove the outer layers of skin while heating the underlying tissues. This stimulates the production of new collagen which improves the tone and texture of your skin over time. By removing the upper layers of skin in a small percentage of the treated area, recovery times are reduced while maintaining the benefits of skin resurfacing.
Ellipse Juvia offers the latest in fractional resurfacing technology for skin rejuvenation, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, improvement in skin texture, redness, pigmentation and acne scarring. Juvia harnesses the proven power of traditional C02 lasers in a more gentle way, minimizing the recovery process and reducing social downtime.
How does it work?
Ellipse Juvia creates a large number of small holes called Micro Thermal Zones (MTZ) in the skin. The number and depth of the MTZ is very precisely defined. Because the MTZ are so close, the body’s natural healing process tends to repair the entire area, not just the holes. And because healthy untreated skin surrounds each of the MTZ, the recovery process is shortened.
Can I be treated?
Almost certainly, Ellipse Juvia treatment is suitable for most patients looking to improve fine lines, wrinkles, dyschromia and acne scarring. A few pre-existing medical conditions may make you unsuitable for treatment, but your doctor will review this with you. Patients with Skin Types V and VI may not be suitable for treatment. Sun exposure or the use of tanning beds should be avoided in the 2 weeks before treatment.
Does it hurt?
Perception of pain varies greatly from one person to another. Ellipse Juvia offers a wide range of treatment settings to accommodate many patients. If the proper settings for your skin cause discomfort, you could choose to use a local anesthetic.
Do I need to take special precautions before and after treatment?
You may be given a post-treatment ointment to promote the healing process. Other than that, you only need to avoid sun exposure and tanning. Your physician may prescribe a short course of medication if you are susceptible to cold sores or to acne.
How many treatments will I need?
Often one treatment is enough, but this really depends on the level of sun-damage to your skin and your personal treatment goals. Your physician will be able to advise further.
What Can I expect after treatment?
Typically you will find that your skin is red for up to 4 days, after which you can wear make-up and return to work. Over the following day or so, your skin will look slightly bronzed as the treated pigment comes up to the surface and flakes off.
The fat melting injection using mesotherapy techniques specifically target localized fat and cellulite deposits. It is a less invasive alternative to liposuction and slowly dissolves the deposits with injections of substances that specially targets the fatty cells. After this, the body proceeds to naturally remove the residue over the following weeks.
The fat melting injection is an effective body contouring treatment that can be performed during brief visits to our clinic, after consultation by our doctors. Using injectable substances to target cellulite and localized fat deposits, fat reduction and weight loss can be accomplished without the need for extensive surgery. The injections consist of a natural soy bean lecithin and enzymes which help to dissolve small, stubborn fat deposits that resist diet and exercise.
Why Should You Choose Fat Lipolysis?
-No need for a general anesthetic as the procedure is painless and does not cause discomfort
-Short recovery period, allowing a swift return to work and normal activities
-More affordable than other surgical alternatives
-Contours body, resulting in a more shapely figure
-Improves appearance of skin and reduces cellulite
Within a safe, clinical setting, this method of weight loss can aid in the reduction of localized fat deposits and results are likely to be visible after four or more treatment sessions. It is a quick procedure and any side effects experienced will be minor, such as swelling, bruising and soreness and these should subside naturally in a short period of time
